Hiroko Nishikawa -saxophonist and composer

Since childhood, I've been in touch with music through eurhythmic and keyboard instruments.

When I was 5 years old, I admired a saxophone player I saw on TV, and decided to pursue a similar career in the future, and finally got my own saxophone at the age of 17 and started my music carrier.

After graduating from high school, I entered Senzoku Gakuen University, majoring in jazz and saxophone. I learned not only technical things but also about reqired mentality as a professional musician from my teacher Bob Zung.

I had worked as a saxophone instructor and performer, but the giant earthquake i Fukushima in 2011 made me dicide to improve my own music on the another way than I experienced in Japan, that's why I moved to Denmark next year 2012.
At Performers House in Silkeborg, Denmark, I experienced and empathized with a different styles of music production with younger passionated students.

Year 2013, I finally settled my life in a little town Vattnäs, Mora, Dalarna in Sweden where I dreamed of visiting one day.

Now I am in strive of my own music style here since 2017 as a freelance musician, and now so on...
